Twisting of Oriya Bhajan in album make the culture lovers furious
One of the famous oriya prayer “Ahe dayamaya biswa bihari, ghena dayabahi mora guhari”, has been distorted in one of the newly released Oriya album.This has made the culture enthusiasts of Orissa angry.
The album song written by Bapu Goswami and music composed by Gudli Rath twaddle as, ” ahe dayamaya biswa bihari, mate kala kain ete sundari”.
In protest of this absurd song, Nishikant Mishra from Cuttack has filed a case in the Orissa High Court to take action against this vulgar act.Kalinga Sena, a local cultural team has also filed a complaint against the 8 persons in Kharabela police station who are associated with the making of the album.
In defence both the lyricist and the music composer has pleaded that there wasn’t any ill-motive behind making this song. They are highly regreted if it has hurt the sentiments of anyone.

I think, our song writers have run out of words and are pathetically trying to create songs now, even at the cost of our very old prayers like “aahe dayamaya”. But i personally think that we dont have such a bad situation among our creative writers and lyricists, only we need to go back to our basics and not run after cheap publicity and commercialisation of oriya music.
The government has taken the right decision by banning the song.

Now ,may be the lyrics writer are not getting any words or the proper languages to write a song,.so without being hesitated they are just destroying our culture and without any botheration about our tradition they are lunching their album to get the money.That’s why not only the lyrics writer but also the producer and the singer of the song are also responsible.Each and every Odia family tells their son and daughter to pray with that old and ancient prayer for god and it can’t be understand how the lyrics writer will tell his children to pray with that prayer,which he had modified to a baseless album.Each and every line of the prayer “aahe dayamaya” the spirituality and the presence of god can be felt but we are now getting attracted towards that idiotic album and listening again and again though it was banned by the government. so please stop it.
