Such a terrifying story come into feature in the nabarangpur district, where three school personnel (2 teacher and a cook)  were found as victim for sexual assault on pupils.

The heartbreaking incident occurred at Govt Upper Primary School in Bada Ambada Popularly known as Bada Ambada Sebashrama. Four girls, continuing study in Standard 7 & 8 were found pregnant and the victims are  Pradip Sahu and Ishwar Bhatra (teachers) and Padman Bhatra (husband of the woman cook of the school) .

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, the name which itself signifies glory and represents the whole nation infront of world as numero uno perhaps not eligible for getting Bharat Ratna award.

There are always few issues in parliament where all the parties like Congress, B.J.P and others make the same statement. Maoists have declared Monday Bandh in three southern district of Orissa in protest against police excess in tribal districts.

In protest Maoists have blown forest beat house and a mobile tower at Balimela in Malkanagiri district.They blew a mobile tower at Mathagada in Koraput area.In Gajapati district the chaos prevails as Maoists torch 4 buses and blow a mobile tower at Rajpanksa area.Baipuriguda-Jeypore road has been blocked at Tapaguda in Malkanagiri district by Maoists.

“We have alerted security forces in vulnerable areas of Ganjam, Gajapati and Malkanagiri areas in view of Maoists bandh call”,  R K Sharma, DIG Southern said.

As claimed by the maoists Police are allegedly killing innocents tribal persons in name of the maoists. To stop this criminal nuisance, Maoists has declared for Bandh today.

Preident Pratibha Patil is on a pilgrimage to Puri, Orissa on tuesday.Prez arrived by a special aircraft “Raj Kamal” at around 12:20 pm today.

Ms. Patil received a warm welcome from Orissa Governor M C  Bhandare and Naveen Pattanaik, chief minister of Orissa.She got escorted to governor’s house after her arrival with guard of honor.

Her schedule includes a visit of half an hour to Sun temple at Konark on wednesday followed by a visit to Shri Jagannath temple at Puri.Special security arrangements has been done to make her visit safe.Shri Jagannath Temple Administration has informed that President is expected to spend half an hour inside the premises.

Social activist Medha Patkar met Orissa Governor M C Bhandare on Sunday to discuss about the rights of tribal people.Well known for taking part in Narmada Bachao Andolan, Ms Patekar is a symbol for the downtrodden and destitutes.

She asked the Governor to take care of the land rights of the tribal people who are suffering continuously from the big giants like POSCO, Vedanta.”It is unfortunate that the tribals are deprived of certain rights.From POSCO, Vedanta to Narayanpatna the lands of tribals and farmers are being taken for various projects, “said Medha Patkar.She also said that the land belonging to the tribals are being snatched away for various projects.

She alleged that the tribals are being deprived of their rights and are treated as Maoists. Ms. Patkar has submitted against this in a memorandum to the Governor.

This is the first time Common Admission Test(CAT) examination is going online very similar to GMAT test.All over the country Prometric is conducting the test in 360 labs , registering 2.41 lakhs of CAT aspirants.

But things don’t go the same way as expected from the very first day of the examination.At many locations, computer crashed mid-way due to overloading of servers.Many students have to return from the center without giving the test.The same thing persists even the second day of the examination.Students are accompanied with log-in problem, rebooting of system in the mid-way, power cut and disappearance of certain parts of the question from the computer system. Students can’t give exam in 50 centers all over the country due to this persisting failure of system n the second day.It has been notified by Prometric, the official partner of IIM who is conducting the exam that for these students the examination will be conducted again in a specified time.

The same thing happened in Bhubaneswar CAT test center, Silicon Institute of Technology.On the second day of the exam, 18 students are refused to take the test due to the non-availability of the computer.Many students are refused to enter inside the center as they didn’t reach at time.Guardians and students are highly disappointed with the on-going system of examination.Perhaps, this is not the right time to make a test online in the country.

CAT examination is scheduled to be conducted across the country in a ten day period from 28 nov- 7 dec.

This fomented step will affect the comming matriculation examination in 2,375 schools across the state.The secondary school teachers are in a demand of providing full grant-in-aid to all of them instead of the previous block grant-in-aid system.

The school and education minister, Pratap Jena has pleaded the  mass not to play with the career of thousands of students as the exams are near-by.He has also assured that necessary steps will be taken to solve their demand.

“We have no information regarding the resignation of the teachers.But steps will be taken to end the plight of teachers, “said Pratap Jena.

The secondary school teachers are demanding full grant-in-aid instead of block grant assistance.To meet up their demand the teachers were on a rally in Bhubaneswar on Monday.Police tried to distort the strike by resorting mild lathi charge and used water canon to disperse the agitated teachers.

This issue was raised by the opposition the next day in the Assembly to attack against the government.
